New road crossing for Kildare village

A new road crossing is being planned for Ballymore Eustace.

According to Kildare County Council a  “gateway design” on the Naas Road approach route is currently being carried out by the council’s transport department and this will include the installation of an uncontrolled crossing facility for vulnerable road users.

There are no signalised crossing facilities currently being proposed on this section of road.
