Son has mental health issues and takes cannabis, Kildare court told

Father comes to court seeking protection
A man alleged at Naas District Court his son has mental health issues and consumes cannabis.
The man sought a protection order and his son was not in court and he was not legally represented.
The court was told the man asked him to leave the home and he does not know where he is.
He stated he had to get protection orders on two previous occasions three to four years previously.
He also said his son has been in a mental health treatment centre and is in a very poor state at times. He also said he had a bipolar diagnosis.
It was further alleged that the son was standing outside the home of a neighbour shouting abuse at them.
Judge Michael Ramsey granted the protection order and adjourned the case to May 12.
