Clane schoolgirl Zoe cuts her hair to raise funds for kids battling cancer

Clane school girl Zoe Rafferty (9) recently held a fundraising night in Clane GAA in aid of The Little Princess Trust.

The Trust make real hair wigs for children across the UK and Ireland who have sadly lost their hair from cancer treatment.

Zoe had her hair cut by Virgo Hair Salon on the night and donated it to the Trust.

Zoe also held a raffle which was supported by all the local businesses in Clane and raised €600.

However an online donation page also raised £627.50 so the overall total donated to The Little Princess Trust was €1, 227.50

Zoe is in Scoil Bhride in Clane where she is in fourth class.
