Fianna Fail boss Micheal Martin to visit Co Kildare at weekend

Fianna Fail leader Micheal Martin will visit Sallins on Sunday to deliver a keynote speech at Bodenstown.

The ex Government minister is expected to deliver a robust attack on the Coalition's bid to win votes with this week's Budget.

The TD is also expected to promote the party's Co Kildare candidates in the general election.

The annual commemoration at Bodenstown Cemetery near Sallins will take place at 11am.

The cemetery is best known as the gravesite of Theobald Wolfe Tone, the 18th Century Irish revolutionary and leader of the Society of the United Irishmen.
