Kilcock is gearing up for the annual St Patricks Day Parade, which is taking place on March 17 at 1.30pm.

It begins at Spin Bridge and travels down past Abbeyfield, St Coca's Church and onto the viewing stand which is located in the Square.

The committee are currently working hard behind the scenes to make sure the parade is a success.

Local businesses, community and voluntary groups and local schools are coming together to provide Music, fun, and entertainment along the route.

A spokesperson for the organising committee said:

"Anyone wishing to participate in the parade itself, it is an opportunity to promote your business/organisation and let everyone in Kilcock be “aware you’re there”. There are prizes available in different categories. The theme this year is “Mná Na hÉireann/Women of Ireland”.

"If you would like to get involved in helping in any way, would like to donate, sponsor the parade or would like to enter into the parade. We can be contacted via email: [email protected] "
