The book is still selling after its original publication in 2017

Naas author Larry Breen recently presented €2,000 from sales of his book Nás Na Riogh, Reflections & Recollections to the principal of the Special Saplings School in Kill, Alan Brennan.

Profits from the book are donated to the school and it is still selling many years after its original publication in 2017.

Saplings provides high quality education for students with autism and complex needs.

The school provides child-centred, autism specific education which draws on a range of evidence-based interventions.

The donation comes at a very apt time, as Saplings has just recently transformed their outdoor space from a muddy-when-wet area to a usable, inviting and playful space all year round.

The book is available in Barker & Jones, Poplar Square, Naas and with Christmas approaching, it would make an ideal present for friends or family - and will help support a very worthwhile cause.
