Kildare Garda District present debifrillator to Athy First Responders

The Kildare Garda District  recently presented a defibrillator fundraised from court donations to a local First Responders group.

In District Court cases, the judge can direct that the defendant make a contribution to charity instead of a fine.

Garda Yvonne Duffy on behalf of Supt Martin Walker of the Kildare Garda District presented the IPAD equipment to Nigel Kelly of Athy Community First Responders (CFR).

The defibrillator was purchased using money received from local courts for charitable purposes.

Also present are CFR members Peter Goggin and Sharon Donnelly.
