LATEST: Kildare Co Council being asked for permission to convert local shop unit into funeral home

There are plans to convert a retail unit into a funeral home. 

A planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council on  the matter.

Oliver Reilly Undertakers Limited is seeking a change of use of a retail convenience unit and workshop in Sallins use to a funeral home.

The ground floor property in The Waterways area will also incorporate internal changes and signage, according to planning documents. 

The proposed redevelopment of the 350 square metre facility will have an estimated construction value of over €400,000, according to the Construction Information Services database.
