More bus services needed between Athy and Kilcullen - Cllr

The Mayor of Kildare has called for more bus services between Athy and Kilcullen.

Cllr Ivan Keatley said that private bus operators have scaled back their routes in recent times.

The Fine Gael politician called on the Council engage with the National Transport Authority (NTA) to increase the level of bus services from Athy and Kilcullen.

He will raise the issue at the next meeting of Athy Municipal District in Athy on Monday, June 19.
