Newbridge bar and nightclub applying for late night exemptions

M. McGowan's Bar and Restaurant in Newbridge is looking to temporarily extend its licensing hours on 20 occasions for special events.

Lawyers for the business on Main Street will make the application before Naas District Court today.

The premises, which was formerly Swifts, is currently expanding and has been granted planning permission for alterations by Kildare Co Council.
