Michael Davern, General Manager of Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel said, “We were very happy to bring back ‘The Christmas Tree Event’ and were thrilled to see our many guests and friends enjoy the day. Fresh from her recent lead in the opera of ‘Le Boheme’ at The Bord Gais Energy Theatre, Celine Byrne was kind enough to not only join in our festivities but surprised us all with her beautiful performance. We also really like our Newbridge Silverware tree in the lobby and are very happy to collaborate with a great Irish brand which is in line with Anantara's ethos of working with indigenous Irish and local suppliers.”

He went on to say, “This is really the start of Christmas for us, and we are looking forward to hosting some fabulous parties and events over the festive season. For the first time in the history of the property we will also be open for residents right through the Christmas period and have created some fantastic residential packages for guests to enjoy. Our hotel restaurant, Forbes Street by Gareth Mullins and the Marker Bar & Lounge are both open throughout Christmas and are ideal venues for a festive celebration with friends and family”.
