PHOTO GALLERY: Bray Air Show by Naas Photography Group

Naas Photography Group, on one of a series of Club outings, went along to witness the annual aerobatics display at the seafront in Bray on Sunday.
Nine photographers had their lenses focused on the action for about three hours and were rewarded with some spectacular shots, with beautiful afternoon skies making for an ideal background.
Over 100,000 attended the show on Sunday.
Naas Photography Group were keen to capture the action, in particular tricky manoeuvres at key moments. Concentration was the name of the game and the results we hope are testimony to our efforts.
Many of the group have photographed Airshows before and have gained some experience in anticipating the next move, key to getting a good shot. Highlights of the day were the Patrouille Trenchant along with the jets of Royal Jordanian Falcons, with split second formation flying. WW2 favourites included a Norwegian MIG, 2 De Havilland Vampire jets, 2 RAF Spitfires, a Norwegian MIG and a Tornedo Fighter bomber Jet with serious thrust, exceeding the speed of sound with matching sonic boom!
The outing proved to one of our most successful to date with the group finishing out a very pleasant day with a meal en route to Naas.
We hope you enjoy some of our photographs taken of this spectacular event.
