Road markings needed at Kildare school

New road markings are needed near the primary school in Allenwood.
Local councillor Daragh Fitzpatrick acknowledged that much has been done to improve safety at a number of schools, but he said work is needed on the approach to Scoil Mhuire.
“Traffic calming was done about ten years ago and it is getting worn,” he said.
He also called for signs indicating the presence of the school, especially on the route from Carbury.
According to Kildare County Council the markings will be “refreshed.”
