Kildare animals in need

We had a very busy week with all seven of the Bichon/ Husky pups going off to their new homes. They brought great entertainment to the shelter as they never stopped exploring and playing all day.

This slightly unusual cross breed will make wonderful pets.

Our annual fund raising book sale in Kilcullen was well attended this year, and thanks to all who came along. Our portrait artist Lisa, who volunteers her time, was kept busy doing brilliant and characterful sketches of people’s dogs.
