Another coffee shop opens in rapidly growing Laois town
Another new coffee shop has been opened in Portlaoise town centre, a sign of the town's growing population.
Already home to several hip coffee shops and cafés, the new addition is just off the Main Street.
Fuel, with proprietor Evelyn Lewis has opened on Railway Street, across from Lyster Lane.
Local businesses have offered a welcome.
"New neighbours, new business. Welcome to Railway Street guys. Fabulous new coffee shop, love the cappuccinos @fuel_coffeeshop Best of luck," say Zara Jewellers.
Downtown Portlaoise is the local traders group.
"Please support a new business launched this week in Portlaoise. Fuel Coffeeshop based on Railway Street," they say.
