Condition Orange fire warning for Laois

The Department of Agriculture has issued a ‘Condition Orange’ high risk fire warning for Laois and the rest of the country.
“We have issued an Orange Forest Fire Warning arising from weather patterns and expected level of risk,” the Department stated.
Members of the public are being asked not to light fires in or around forestry or open land and to call 999 or 112 to report any fires.
The warning will remain in place until Saturday, April 22 at 6pm.
