Laois goalscoring centre half-back Mark Timmons is named in team submitted to the GAA ahead of this weekend's Tailteann Cup versus Limerick.

There had been fears that the Graiguecullen man would not be named due to injury in the win over Fermanagh. He was the unlikely top scorer for Laois in the win in Brewster Park with a goal and a point.

Billy Sheehan has made a change at full-back with Trevor Collins of Graigucullen making way for Alex Mohan from Portarlington. There are no other changes to the team that pulled off a surprise win in the preliminary quarter-final in Enniskillen.

There's also a Kerry man over the Limerick team. Manger Mark Fitzgerald has announced a strong team that will play Laois in the Tailteann Cup quarter-final at the TUS Gaelic Grounds on Saturday afternoon. More below team sheets.placeholder image

Laois are one the road again because of they emerged as the third-placed team in the Tailteann Cup group stages.
