Landmark Town Centre First Plan to revitalise Mountmellick will be unveiled next week

There's great excitement in Mountmellick ahead of the official launch on Tuesday, November 18
Laois County Council will launch its landmark Town Centre First Plan for Mountmellick on Tuesday, November 18.
The Mountmellick Town Centre First Plan aims to regenerate Mountmellick Town and enhance the surrounding landscape through key projects.

The key to this initiative is making Mountmellick a desirable place to live, work and visit. To do this, the local community were invited to have their say on the plan in recent months.
Now, 17 months after the first meeting of the Town Team, the Town Centre First Plan is ready to be unveiled.
Laois County Council will be launching the Town Centre First Plan at Mountmellick Library at 7pm on Tuesday, November 18.
Everyone is welcome to join the event where people can explore the Town Centre First Plan and the projects it contains.
People will also be able to learn how to get involved and register their interest in joining the Town Team, as well as connect with fellow community members, local leaders, and stakeholders.
From Tuesday, the plan will be on public display in the offices of the Mountmellick Development Association, Mountmellick Library, the offices of Laois County Council in Portlaoise and online at www.laois.ie.
