Laois Camogie side head to Roscommon in search of league semi-final place

Laois have won their opening two games of the league
Pat Collier and Robert Jones will take their Laois Camogie side to St Aidan's GAA in Ballyforan this weekend with the joint-managers hoping to make it a clean sweep in Division 3A with three wins from three.
Laois got their campaign off to the perfect start away to Kildare as two goals from Lucy O'Connor coupled with 10 points from the hurl of Aimee Collier put Laois on their way to a 3-14 to 2-12 win in Hawkfield.
Their second game was due to be a home fixture against Armagh with it fixed for the Centre of Excellence in Portlaoise. However, the weather conditions left the pitch unplayable and no replacement venue could be found. It was then decided that Laois would have to give up home advantage and they had to travel north with the game taking place in St Mary’s GAA Tassagh instead.
Eimear Hassett was in inspired form as she made her first appearance for Laois fresh from captaining her school Our Lady's Secondary School Templemore to the Senior All-Ireland Camogie Championship. Hassett scored 2-3 on the day as Laois ran out 3-12 to 0-12 winners in Armagh.
Roscommon come into this weekend's game with three points to their name having defeated Kildare last weekend, 1-12 to 2-7. They lost their opening round contest to Armagh in what was a nine-goal thriller, 5-15 to 4-10.
A victory for Laois on Saturday would see them top the Division 3A table and face into a league semi-final. Laois and Roscommon throws-in at 2pm on Saturday, March 9 in St Aidan's GAA, Ballyforan. Tickets for the game can be bought here.
