Laois Offaly Gardaí issue warning following 'lucky escape' for driver

Laois Offaly Gardaí said a motorist had a lucky escape after leaving the M6 Motorway due to tiredness behind the wheel.

Gardaí posted an image of the rear of the car which appears to have travelled a distance along a ditch before coming to a stop beside the road.

“Lucky escape for driver this morning on M6 motorway due to tiredness,” gardaí stated.

They urged drivers to remember to take a break if they are feeling tired while behind the wheel.
