Portlaoise traffic N77 diversions to begin Monday

Motorists can expect traffic delays and diversions in Portlaoise from Monday, April 17.

Laois County Council  is advising motorists of Temporary Traffic Management arrangements at the N77 Abbeyleix Road, Portlaoise.

The council says the traffic arrangements will remain in place daily between 8am and 6pm until Friday, September 15 for this phase of the work.  

“From a Point: Junction 17 M7 Intersection with N77 Abbeyleix Road Portlaoise. To a Point: N77 intersection with father Brown Avenue Roundabout (O’ Moore Park) road narrows with one side lane closure,” the council stated. placeholder image

The road closures are taking place as part of the road improvement scheme which is expected to continue into early next year.
