Members of Longford Triathlon Club competed in events in Ireland and England.
It was another action-packed week for the members of Longford Triathlon Club.

Marie Devlin Clyne took on the Serpentine 1 Swim Mile in London’s Hyde Park on Saturday morning while Jacqueline Mahon headed west to take on the Céide Coast Atlantic Half Marathon.

Despite the windy weather conditions and the hilly terrain, Jacqueline embraced it all with confidence.
Taking on the Irish Life Dublin Half Marathon were members Geraldine Brady and Maggie Smith.

Fantastic performances recorded by both, with a personal best being achieved by Geraldine.
Many of the club’s members were also out cycling, running and swimming in preparation for the Caiscais Ironman, which is fast approaching.
Joked Longford Triathlon Club, “The training is well and truly underway, apparently sitting on the couch eating biscuits doesn’t count as tapering just yet!”
