Longford District Court hears that “the injured party has also been prosecuted in this matter"
A man charged with assault has his case put back until October, at last week’s sitting of Longford District Court.
Reeves Fox, with an address at 15 Park Villas, Longford is charged with assaulting Oisin Killane on August 13, 2022, at Main Street, Longford.
Sergeant Enda Daly told the court that there were photos of the injured party Oisin Killane, having been kicked in the face.
Mr Killane had difficulty opening one of his eyes.
“The prognosis for Mr Killane was that despite his head and neck injuries, he should make a full recovery,” Sgt Daly stated.
He went on to tell the court that Mr Killane sustained severe swelling in his face. He was allegedly kicked in the ground by the defendant.
“The injured party has also been prosecuted in this matter,” Sgt Daly stated.
Mr Fox was remanded on continuing bail until October 1.
