The event is being spearheaded by the north Longford town's Sustainable Energy Communities SEC team.

This event aims to foster local engagement, encourage participation, and build momentum towards a cleaner and more sustainable future for Granard and its surrounding areas.

A series of workshops tailored to various sectors of the community, including farmers, businesses and local residents are set to take place over the course of the day.

Two organisations workshops for businesses, tradespeople, farmers, clubs and various groups are scheduled for 2:30pm and 6:15pm while a workshop for local residents is pencilled in to get underway from 7pm.
