Cooper the Caterpillar! Giant Ballymahon flower planter made out of reclaimed wine barrels is christened

Orla O'Rourke and Florence Henry win Ballymahon Tidy Towns competition
Visitors arriving in Ballymahon via the Edgeworthstown Road can finally put a name to the friendly face that greets them at Marian Terrace.
Volunteers at Ballymahon Tidy Towns spent a busy winter building a giant caterpillar flower planter out of reclaimed wine barrels. But when it came to what to call the creepy-crawly, the team were stumped.
Local girls Orla O'Rourke and Florence Henry rode to the rescue!
They won a Facebook competition by coming up with the name Cooper, a clever nod to the centuries-old craft of barrel-making.
The girls were delighted with their prizes - a voucher each to spend as they please at local bike shop Ballymahon Greenway Cycles.
Cooper was christened on Sunday, August 11.
