Haunted Ballymahon! All invited to free walking tour of south Longford legends

The Haunted Ballymahon walking tour is a free event that will take place this Saturday October 24 at 6pm, with attendees asked to meet at the Bridgeways FRC in Ballymahon. No registration is required.
The streets of Ballymahon will provide the setting for an evening of history, mystery and local folklore this Saturday, October 24, as local historian and storyteller Seán Clancy leads a haunted walking tour of the town.
The tour, which is free to attend, will begin at 6pm, with participants meeting at Bridgeways Family Resource Centre before setting off to explore Ballymahon’s hidden history.
As darkness falls, Seán will share tales of mysterious happenings, forgotten characters and local legends passed down through generations, bringing stories of the town’s past to life.
Those taking part are advised to wrap up warm, wear comfortable footwear and dress appropriately for the weather.
No registration is required.
