Maisie Drake from Abbeylara performed a beautiful step dancing routine in the final of the Sean Nós dancing competition at Oireachtas na Samhna in Killarney.
A big congratulations to the supremely-talented Maisie Drake, daughter of Áine and Terry from Carrickduff, who took to the stage today to perform in the final of the Sean Nós dancing competition at Oireachtas na Samhna 2026.
Held at the Gleneagle Arena in Killarney, the competition was broadcast live on TG4’s Steip Beo, with young Maisie performing a beautiful routine in front of a large audience.
Among the many voicing support for the young Longford step dancer included Abbeylara GAA Club and the John Dungan CCÉ branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann.
This is not Maisie’s first time performing live on TV.
She was last year crowned the Sean Nós dancing champion at the 2025 Oireachtas na Samhna, held in Belfast.
