If you attended Granard’s Cnoc Mhuire as part of the cohorts of 1969-1974, 1970-1975, 1971- 1976 or 1972 - 1977 then this is your chance to reunite on October 17 at 1pm in the Pikers Lodge, Lough Gowna.

As Don McClean would say “Long long time ago, I can still remember….”

It’s about 50 Years ago, when you were in Cnoc Mhuire and singing American Pie at the top of your teenage voice.

We are organising a 70s reunion so that you’ll get an opportunity to recall those days and meet people that you may not have met since then.

The date is for October 17 at 1pm in the Pikers Lodge, Lough Gowna.

If you attended Cnoc Mhuire as part of the cohorts of 1969-1974, 1970-1975, 1971- 1976 or 1972 - 1977 then this will be a chance to reacquaint with some of your classmates.

Perhaps you only attended for a couple of years as part of one of those cohorts and it would still be lovely to see you. If you were a teacher who taught one of those cohorts and could bear the thought of seeing us again (we’re a bit better behaved now – but not a lot) then we’d love to see you.

We’ve chosen a lunchtime event since many will be living in distant parts of the country and this will give the option of travelling to the event and returning home on the day.

Please register your interest through this link or email us on cnocmhuire70sreunion@gmail. com and we will email the link to you.

We need to finalise the format and give an indication of numbers to Pikers Lodge.

Please pass it on to anybody you may be in contact with from those cohorts. We look forward to seeing many of you there!

Philip (Mary) O’Reilly, 1970-1976 Brenda Tallon, 1969-1975
