Gold medal winning Tullamore Tidy Towns committee sponsors bulbs for innovative project
EVERY child in St Joseph’s national school in Tullamore - 376 pupils in total - planted a spring bulb this week.
The bulbs included crocuses, tulips, daffodils and snowdrops and were all kindly sponsored by Tullamore Tidy Towns.
The gardening committee would like to thank Mr. Carton and the Transition Year students in Killina Presentation Secondary School who helped the children plant the bulbs along with some parents from the gardening committee.
The children are all looking forward to seeing some lovely flowers blossom in the Spring.
