Gardai in Midlands arrest man as part of investigation into human trafficking

Gardai in the Midlands have arrested a man as part of an investigation into human trafficking

As part of the ongoing investigations into Human Trafficking and related criminal activity, Gardaí at Mullingar conducted a search and arrest operation in County Galway on Monday, November 28.

In the course of the operation man in his 30s was arrested and is currently detained at Mullingar Garda Station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1996. 

The investigation is ongoing and further updates will follow.
