An Offaly player has been named on the 2023 Electric Ireland Camogie Third Level Rising Stars Team of the Year.

St Rynagh's Kate Kenny was chosen on the chosen on the team at wing-forward. Kate played with DCU who reached the Ashbourne Cup Semi Final where they lost out to UCC.

n a season filled with stand-out team and individual performances, TU Dublin were crowned Ashbourne Cup winners for the first time ever, overcoming a dominant UCC side at Dave Billings Park, Belfield.

In this year’s Electric Ireland Camogie Third Level Rising Stars 2023 Team of the Year, Ashbourne Cup Champions, TU Dublin, are well represented with five players included while beaten finalists UCC have four representatives on the team. Beaten semi-finalists, DCU DÉ and SETU Waterford each have two players represented while two players from UL also feature.

This year’s Electric Ireland Camogie Third Level Rising Star Player of the Year is TU Dublin’s Megan Dowdall. Megan’s ball winning ability and eye for the posts made her almost unstoppable during TU Dublin’s Ashbourne Cup campaign.
