One-way system will be in place on two Tullamore streets during bridge works

Offaly County Council confirms one-way system during six-week project
Two streets in Tullamore will be one way for six weeks while works on a bridge in the town are carried out.
Commencing on Monday, September 8, works will be carried out on Phase One of the Coxs Bridge Active Travel Scheme for a period of six weeks.
Phase Two of the Active Travel Scheme travelling on the Clara Road R 20 towards the Clontarf Rad, Arden View Junction will be issued closer to commencement date.
Footpath Works will be taking place on Cox’s Bridge & Kilbride Street. As a result of the necessary traffic management controls required to complete these works, it will not be possible to access Kilbride Street from either Pearse Park or O’Molloy Street with both becoming one way from Kilbride Street.
Traffic will be diverted onto Marian Place to follow diversion signs onto Kilbride Street.
Offaly County Council says these dates are subject to the weather being suitable for footpath works being carried out.
Offaly County Council says it regrets any inconvenience to road users.
