THE concluding stages of the Offaly Senior, Senior “B” and Intermediate Football Championships have been fully drawn out and the quarter-final fixtures were made on Monday evening.

In senior football, there will be two big quarter-final double bills in O'Connor Park on Saturday and Sunday, September 14 and 15. The quarter-finals in the Intermediate and Senior “B” Football Championships are spread out from Friday, September 13 to Sunday, September 15.

Unfortunately some of the senior “B” and intermediate fixtures are partly clashing with senior football quarter-finals, making it impossible for supporters to take in all games they would like to get to.

The final round of group games finalised the quarter-final pairings in each grade last weekend while the group winners can't clash until the finals, if they stay winning.

The winners of the quarter-finals involving each group winner have been seeded into the semi-finals, where they will meet the winners of the quarter-final involving the second team in the other group.

Under the new format this year, all eight teams qualified for the quarter-finals with the games deciding finishing positions - 1st play 4th and 2nd play 3rd from the opposing groups.

In senior football, the standout fixture is a quarter-final between two of the main contenders, Rhode and Ferbane – Rhode were beaten by champions, Tullamore while Ferbane drew with Edenderry and were edged out for second place on scoring difference.

Senior, Tullamore and Shamrocks;

Senior B, Daingean and Cappincur;

Intermediate, St Brigid's and Erin Rovers.

The pairings are:
