"As our amazing garden team began assessing the situation, they stumbled upon a hidden secret beneath the fallen tree – a thriving bee hive!

"Now, the welfare of these busy little bees is our top priority We've enlisted the help of local beekeeping experts to ensure the hive is carefully looked after as this particular hive is estimated to be over 20 years old," they added.

"So special thanks to Jerome and Lee for all their help," the Birr team said.

They vowed to keep followers posted on the progress of the bees on their social media channels.
