Shane Lowry and Rory McIlroy paired together for third round of PGA Championship

Shane Lowry and Rory McIlroy have been paired together for the third round of PGA Championship in New York this evening.

They will tee off at 6.40pm this evening at Oak Hill Country Club.

They are currently even par for the tournament in a tie for 10th place, five shots behind joint leaders Scottie Scheffler, Corey Connors and Victor Hovland.

Shane Lowry shot a three under par 67 on Friday to move from just inside the cut line into the top 10. He had an incredible run from the 8th to the 15th with six birdies in eight holes. He dropped shots on 17 and 18 but his three under par round was still one of the best of the day.

Rory McIlroy shot a one under par round with two birdies in his last five holes to get back to level par for the tournament.
