We have a winner in our search to find Offaly's Best Pint of Guinness!

The thousands of votes cast in the contest to crown Offaly's best pint of Guinness have been counted and we have found our winner. 

Not only is Geashill the Tidiest Village in Ireland, it can now lay claim to the honour of having Offaly's Best Pint of Guinness.

After receiving 26% of the votes, The High Chaparal in Geashill has been chosen by the Offaly Express readers as the pub serving the finest pint of the black stuff in Offaly. 

In second place was the Giltraps in Kinnitty with 20% of the votes cast with Simon's Bar in Banagher third will 11% of the overall vote. 

Direen's in Cloneygowan was fourth with 5% followed by The Goalpost in Tullamore with 4%.
