Football rumours: Ruben Amorim has Wolves defender Rayan Ait-Nouri on wishlist

What the papers say

New Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has reportedly set his sights on Wolves defender Rayan Ait-Nouri as he looks to boost his options at left-back. The 23-year-old Algeria international’s contract is set to expire in 2026 and is believed to be seeking an exit from Molineux, according to The Sun.

Tottenham could be forced to prioritise signing a goalkeeper following a significant injury to Guglielmo Vicario. The Italian underwent surgery for a broken ankle he suffered in Tottenham’s 4-0 win over Manchester City. The Telegraph says Spurs had already been considering adding to their goalkeeping department, but may now have no choice but to accelerate their plans.

The Irish Mirror reports Brighton are set to bring in Cork City’s Ireland Under-18 winger Matthew Murray, 17, on a trial basis.
