Love in the Country has announced a Donegal contestant has been cast for season two. 

Ollie Hepburn, who is originally from Raphoe but is residing in the Glen of Glenties has been cast to find love on the hit show. Ollie is 70 and he is a horse trick trainer looking for the woman of his dreams. He has traveled the world, loves country music and wants to find a special lady to share his life with.

Alongside Ollie, five other rural singletons will spend the Summer of ‘24 looking for love. The contestants aside from Ollie include Lisa and Danielle who are both 34 and from Laois, Ger who is 44 from Cork, 42 year old Brenda from Galway and Mike who is 29 and from Kerry. 

Presented by Anna Geary the six-part series pairs rural singletons with individuals happy to experience the charms of country living. 

“It’s very exciting to get back on the road, traveling the length and breadth of Ireland, helping people of all ages find love,” Anna Geary said. “I get to be almost like their wing woman, their confidante, cheering them on.”

Season one aired last year and season two has just finalised the casting so a release date is not available at this time.
