On this new track, Davy and Matthew, from St John's Point, are joined by the very experienced Derek Kelly (Celtic Kaos), whose drum beats create a driving, energetic rhythm that blends seamlessly with the guitar sounds and vocals of the song. The Sand was recorded at Valley Music Studio and produced excellently by Terry McGinty.
They have expressed their thanks to Jimmy Stafford and Paul McDevitt of Highland Radio's Monday Night Sessions for their support and to Moya Brennan for her invaluable guidance and mentorship. Feel free to download, stream and enjoy The Sand on all streaming platforms from Friday, April 11.
