It is the follow-up to their debut single, He Likes Flowers, which has been streamed in over 80 countries on Spotify and played on many radio stations in Ireland and internationally

Brothers Davy and Matthew Byrne, performing as Proton Pool Party, are thrilled to announce the release of their new single, The Sand.

It is the follow-up to their debut single, He Likes Flowers, which has been streamed in over 80 countries on Spotify and played on many radio stations in Ireland and internationally, as well as being very favourably reviewed by Hot Press.

On this new track, Davy and Matthew, from St John's Point, are joined by the very experienced Derek Kelly (Celtic Kaos), whose drum beats create a driving, energetic rhythm that blends seamlessly with the guitar sounds and vocals of the song. The Sand was recorded at Valley Music Studio and produced excellently by Terry McGinty.
