The HSE National Ambulance Service (NAS) is inviting people in the South East to apply for student paramedic roles.

Successful candidates will be working with a diverse team who will make you feel at home. Closing date for applications is Tuesday, 4th July.

The Paramedic course is a degree level programme and takes three years. NAS maintains a panel of candidates who are invited twice a year to take up available places at the National Ambulance Service College.
There are some very attractive benefits on offer to Paramedic trainees including the following:
1) Paramedic trainees are paid while they are attending the 3 year course at the National Ambulance Service College
2) Successful completion of the course leads to the awarding of a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree
3) Successful candidates are almost guaranteed a full time job at the successful end of their training
4) There are a variety of promotional opportunities within the National Ambulance Service such as studying to be an 5)Advanced Paramedic, management roles, getting involved in the education of paramedics and also in clinical analysis work.
In addition to the current competition for Student Paramedics, NAS runs a variety recruitment competitions at various times during the year which are advertised on the HSE website.
