The cream of young Laois trad talent will descend on Clonaslee over the June Bank Holiday weekend for the Laois Fleadh.
The Craobh Seán Ryan branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann (CCÉ) in Kilcavan has the honor of hosting the 2025 edition of the annual feast of music, song, dance and storytelling entertainment.
The branch has opted to hold the event in Clonaslee, another cradle of Comhaltas in Laois.
Hundreds of participants will take part in the programme of events, which features competitions, sessions and a big concert.
The festival begins on Thursday, May 29, with dancing competitions and an opening session in Fallon's. MORE BELOW PICTURE.

Comhaltas is dedicated to the promotion of traditional Irish music, song, dance and language of Ireland. There are branches in Portlaoise, Portarlington, Camross, Mountmellick, Clonaslee, Kilcavan, Spink, Ratheniska, Kilcavan, Cullohill.
