Memory Lane: The last O'Dempseys team to win Laois GAA county football final

O'Dempsey's GAA face Portlarlington GAA in MW Hire O'Moore Park with hopes of being the first senior football team from the club since 1980 to take home the Jack Delaney Cup to Killenard.

The team that shocked Graiguecullen by a single point on a scoreline of 1-05 to 0-7 on Sunday, September 28 1980 was as follows:
