Racing for Pinarello Q36.5 Pro, Bennett crossed the line in 122nd place after tackling the 186.4-kilometre route from Deinze to Nokere, a significant milestone since his November heart surgery.
Jasper Philipsen surged past Alec Segaert in the final meters to claim his first victory of the season for Alpecin-Premier Tech, overcoming crashes and even a mid-race shoe change. Ireland’s Seth Dunwoody, representing Bahrain Victorious, secured 86th place.
