The following deaths have occurred:-
Neil Coyle, 2 Carrickreagh Gardens, Derry
The death has occurred of Neil Coyle, 10th January 2024, suddenly at his home 2 Carrickreagh Gardens, beloved husband of Anne, loving father of Caleb and Ethan, dear son of Neil and the late Majella, cherished brother of John-Paul, (Karen), devoted uncle of Jayden and Ryan, a dear nephew to all his aunts and uncles. Sadly miss by his cousins, the wider family circle and his many friends. Neil will be reposing at his home today (Saturday) from 11.00am to 10.00pm. House strictly Private from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Funeral leaving his home tomorrow (Sunday, 14th January) at 12.250pm to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Funeral Mass at 1.30pm. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for him.
Sadie Davis (née Boyce), Drumard Drive, Coleraine
The death has taken place of Sadie Davis (née Boyce), 11th January 2024, (peacefully, after a short illness) at Anniscliff House, Maghera, dearly loved wife of Joseph (Joe), late of Drumard Drive, Coleraine, much loved mother of Jim, Russell, Jacqueline, Gary and Jonathan, a dear mother-in-law, devoted grandmother and great-grandmother and a much loved sister. Service in Killowen Parish Church on Sunday at 2.00pm followed by interment in Macosquin Parish Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired for Killowen Parish Church or Anniscliff House c/o Mrs Mona Murdock, 31 Bushmills Road, Coleraine. Deeply regretted and very sadly missed by her loving family and entire family circle.
Julie Donnelly (née McLaughlin), 35 Ballygallin Park, Coleraine
The death has occurred of the late Julie Donnelly (née McLaughlin), 8th January 2024, (suddenly) at her home, 35 Ballygallin Park, Coleraine, much loved mother of Sabrina, Emma and Gillian, mother-in-law to Brian and Neil, devoted grandmother of Ty and Roxy, daughter of Jean and the late Joe and a dear sister. Service in Holy Trinity Church on Thursday, 18th January at 12.00noon followed by cremation at Antrim and Newtownabbey Crematorium at 2.00pm. Family and friends welcome at her home on Tuesday, 16th Jauary and Wednesday, 17th January from 5.00pm to 9.00pm. Patsy McCallion, 33 Capall Court, Derry
The death has taken place of Patsy McCallion, 11th January 2024, suddenly at Altnagelvin Hospital, (formerly of Dunree Gardens), beloved husband of Rosemary, loving father of Shauna, Clare, Kevin and Catherine, devoted grandfather of Caitlin, Aoife, Maebh, Eibhlin, Shéa, Oisin and Conor, dear and loving brother of Billy, Elizabeth, Margo and Mersie, a devoted uncle to all his nieces and nephews and a dear father-in-law to Gareth, Neal, Mairead and Gerard. Funeral leaving his home, 33 Capall Court on Monday, 15th January at 10.20am to St. Brigid’s Church, Carnhill for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 10.00am. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. St. Pio intercede for him.
Catherine (Jean) Jane McCorkell, Alanvale Crescent, Derry
The death has taken place of Catherine (Jean) Jane McCorkell, 6th January 2024, peacefully in Hospital in England. Formerly of Alanvale Crescent. Wife of the late Gilmour McCorkell, Beloved Mother of Derick, Stephen and Mark. Dear father-in-law of Annette and Doreen. A devoted grandmother to Andrew, Harry, William and Mya. New Great Grandmother to Arabella. Funeral will take place today (Saturday, 20th January 2024) at Fahan Presbyterian Church at 1.00pm followed by burial at St Mura’s Church of Ireland graveyard, Fahan. House Strictly Private.
