Michelle Cartin (née McDermott), 42 Altinure Road, Park, Claudy
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Michelle Cartin (née McDermott), peacefully at Foyle Hospice surrounded by her loving family on the 22nd of December 2023. May she rest in peace. Late of 42 Altinure Road, Park, Claudy, Co Derry. Beloved wife of Michael and devoted mother of Aisling (Oran), Dearbhla (Dominic), Darrragh (Bronagh)and granny of Fódhla. Loving daughter of Clare and the late Sean R.I.P and a very dear sister of Shane and Kevin. Reposing at her late home. Wake will commence today (Saturday, 23rd December) at 12noon until 9.00pm. Funeral on Sunday, 24th December leaving her late home at 1.15pm for Requiem Mass at 2.00pm in Saint Joseph’s Church, Banagher. Requiem Mass can be viewed via the church webcam https://www.banagherparish.com/. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. John Colhoun, 24 Annadale Park, Limavady
The death has taken place of John Colhoun, 22nd December 2023, suddenly at Altnagelvin Hospital. Beloved husband of Rosemary, loving father of Glen, Andrew, Roland, Terry-Lee, and the late Kathleen. A much loved grandfather. Rhona McCay (née Gallagher), 20 Helen Street, Derry
The death has occurred of Rhona McCay (née Gallagher), 22nd December 2023, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital. Beloved Wife of the late Mickey and Loving Mother of Gerard, Margaret, Hugh, Michael, Seamus, Elizabeth, Catherine and Louise. A much Loved Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Sister-in-law of Anna. Funeral from her home 20 Helen Street, Derry on Sunday, 24th December at 12noon to Saint Eugene's Cathedral for Mass at 12.30pm. Interment immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have Mercy on her soul.
Muriel Moorehead, formerly of ‘Glenard’ 6 Limavady Road, Derry
The death has taken place of Muriel Moorehead, 22nd December 2023, at Rush Hall Nursing Home, peacefully in her 95th year. Muriel formerly of ‘Glenard’ 6 Limavady Road and latterly Foyle Fold. Youngest daughter of the late John James Moorehead and Mary Anne Moorehead. Dear sister of the late Jim (James), Noel, Ruth, May and Mervyn, conscientious cousin, Aunt, Great Aunt, Great-Great Aunt and sister-in-law. Long serving Sunday School Teacher, keen singer, member of the choirs and always with her bike. Funeral Service in Adair & Neely Funeral Home at 12noon on Wednesday, 27th December 2023 followed by burial in Glendermott (New) Cemetery. Lily Stevenson, 37 Drumleck Drive, Shantallow, Derry
The death has taken place of Lily Stevenson, 22nd December 2023, late of 37 Drumleck Drive, Shantallow, beloved daughter of the late Samuel and Bella, loving sister of Mary and the late Billy and Kathleen and a much loved aunt. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown today (Saturday) at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the St Mary's Cemetery, Ardmore. The Mass can be viewed live via the church webcam. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her. Our Lady of Knock intercede for her.
