The following deaths have occurred:-
Annie (Nan) Caldwell (née Walker), Faughan Crescent, Derry
The death has taken place of Annie (Nan) Caldwell (née Walker), 1st December 2022, (peacefully) at Owen Mor Care Centre (surrounded by her loving family formerly Faughan Crescent) dearly loved wife of the late Douglas (Dougie) much loved and devoted mother of Elaine, Kenneth, Trevor, Keith and Ian, loving mother-in-law, adored grandmother and great-grandmother, dearest sister of Jim and Alan Walker. Service of Thanksgiving in her daughter Elaine's home, 23 Grovemount Court, Altnagelvin on Sunday, 4th December at 2.00pm followed by burial in Glendermott Presbyterian Church Burial Ground. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Alzheimer's Society c/o Mrs. Ruth Hay, Funeral Director, 24A, Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry BT47 3QQ. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by her entire family circle.
Teresa Daly (née Gillespie), 2 Thorndale, Derry
The death has occurred of Teresa Daly (née Gillespie), 2nd December 2022, peacefully at her home, 2 Thorndale, (formerly of Balbane Pass), beloved wife of the late Raymond, loving mother of Philip, Jaqui, Raymond and Mark, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, dear daughter of the late Danny and Josie and a dear and loving sister and aunt. Loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Funeral leaving her home on Sunday, 4th December at 10.20am to St. Joseph’s Church Galliagh for Funeral Mass at 11.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu if wished to Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry, or Marie Curie, C/o. 20 Dunhugh Park, Victoria Road, Derry. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for her.
Michael Morgan, 12 Manor Downs, Magherafelt
The death has taken place of Michael Morgan, 2nd December 2022, beloved husband of the late Mary and loving father of Siobhan, Eamon, Maryrose, Angela, Owen, Anna and the late Pat, son of the late Maryrose and Michael (Hilltown) and dear brother of Maureen Rogan, Owen, Stephen, Rosemarie, Teasie McAuley and the late Breda Zeller and Anna Philomena. Funeral from his home, 12 Manor Downs on Sunday, 4th December at 11.30am for 12.00noon Requiem Mass in Church of St John Milltown, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Deeply regretted by his sons, daughters, daughters in law, sons in law, grandchildren, brothers, sisters and extended family circle. We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Michael McCloskey (Skehugan), (suddenly) at home on 30th November 2022, late of 111a Gortnaghey Road, Drum, Dungiven, Co Derry, BT47 4PZ. Beloved husband of Kathleen and loving father of Cormac ( Maria), Michael (Karen), Anna (John), Ursula (Liam), Peter (Julie), Triona (Billy), Maria (Darren), Patrick (Claire) and the late infant Catherine R.I.P. Devoted grandfather of EÍmear, Orlaíth, Cára, Cormác Óg, Catherine, Killian, Donnacha, Patrick, Luke, Olivia, Quinn, Kate, Grace, Michael and Anna. Loving son of the late Mary-Ann and Patrick R.I.P and dear brother Sr Enda, Eileen, Brendan, Seamus and the late Detta, Kathleen Philomena (K.P) and Eamon R.I.P. Reposing at his late home. Funeral on Sunday 4th of December, leaving his late home at 1.20pm for 2pm Requiem Mass in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Gortnaghey. Interment afterwards in St Patrick’s Church, Dungiven graveyard. The death has taken place of William George Horace McKinley, 1st December 2022, (peacefully) at home, 4 Parklands, Limavady Road. Dearly beloved husband of Catherine. A loving father of Alistair, Diane, Scott, Graeme and the late Colin. A devoted Grandfather of Rebeckah, Alex, Ava, Kian, Ben, Lewis and the late Mya, and Great-Grandfather of Theo. A funeral service will take place on Sunday, 4th December 2022 in his late home at 1.00pm, followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
