It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Eilish Casey (née McCauley), peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 14 2025. Beloved wife of Johnny. Cherished and loved mother of Roma, Jason, Darren and Gerard. Beloved aunt of Moira. Loving mother-in-law of Noel, Denise and Rachel. Adored by her grandsons Nathan, A.J, John and Darren Jr. Dearest godmother of James and Sheila. A loving sister-in-law and aunt to all of her nieces and nephews. Eilish’s remains will be reposing at her late home, 73 Cable Street from 10.00am this morning (Saturday, March 15). Funeral leaving from there at 11:50am on Monday, March 17 for Requiem Mass at 12:30pm in St. Eugene’s Cathedral. Burial immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. Frankie McDermott, 49 Spruce Meadow, Culmore, Derry
The death has occurred of the late Frankie McDermott, late of 49 Spruce Meadow, Culmore, Derry BT48 8SF and formerly of Bohillion Burt. Beloved husband of Pamela and much love father of Gemma, Kate and Ella. Predeceased by his parents Phonsie and Annie, his brother Paul and sister Donna. Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by his loving wife, daughters, brothers, sisters, extended family and friends. Frankie's remains will be reposing at his home on Saturday, March 15 from 11.00am where you are all welcome to pay your respects. Removal from there on Monday, March 17 at 9.15am going to St Aengus' Church, Burt for Requiem Mass at 10.15am followed by interment in Burt Cemetery. Marian McLoone, March 13 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved daughter of the late John Vincent and Gretta, (née Robb), loving sister of Peter, Billy, Noel, Patrick, Margaret, Gerard, David, Claire and the late Martin a cherished aunt to all her nieces and nephews and a dear sister-in-law. Loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle. Marian will be reposing at her home, 21 Grainan Park. Funeral leaving her home on Monday, March 17 to St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Much loved wife of the late Dominic and devoted mother of Seamus, Dominic, Feargal and Gary. Much loved sister of Patrick, Seamus, Alice, Sean, Celine, Pat, Kate and the late Michael and Brendan.
