The following deaths have occurred:-
William James (Billy) Lagan, 574 Mayboy View, Ballerin
The death has taken place of William James (Billy) Lagan (Ballerin), 10th December 2022, (peacefully) late of 574 Mayboy View. Husband of the late Lily (née McGonigle), loving father of Brian, Paul, Paddy, Mary and Liam and a much adored Granda and great Granda. Billy will be reposing in his daughter Mary’s residence, 12 St. Columba’s Park, on Sunday from 12noon. Funeral from his daughter Mary’s residence on Tuesday at 10.30am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Ballerin. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. (Mass will be broadcast live on the parish website http://www.errigalparish.com/media.html). Our Lady of Lourdes pray for Him. Deeply regretted by the entire Lagan and McGonigle family circle. Vanda McKeeman, 27 Willowfield Drive, Coleraine
The death has taken place of Vanda McKeeman, 9th December 2022, (peacefully) passed away surrounded by family at home, 27 Willowfield Drive, Coleraine, Vanda, dearly loved partner of Gordon, loving mother of Aaron, Andrew, and Rebekah, a devoted grandmother to Jessica and Jake, daughter of Kathleen and the late Archie McKeeman, dear sister of Colin, Alan and partner Kerry beloved aunt, niece and cousin to many. Funeral on Tuesday at 11.30am from her home for service in First Presbyterian Church Coleraine at 12.00noon, followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired for Hope House Ireland c/o Mrs Mona Murdock, 31 Bushmills Road, Coleraine. Deeply regretted by her loving family and entire family.
Madeline Scott (formerly Sweeney) (née McGrory), 43 Elm Grove, Derry
The death has taken place of Madeline Scott (formerly Sweeney) (née McGrory), 9th December 2022, (peacefully) at the Foyle Hospice, loving mother of Margaret, Maria, Rory and Danelle, mother-in-law of Christy and Damien, devoted grandmother of Stacey, Kelsey, Bradley, Adam, Cait and Asha and dear sister of Anna, Joan, Carmel, Marie, Danny, Loretta, Sharon and the late Dolores, John, Helen, Pauline, Michael and Patricia. Funeral from her home, 43 Elm Grove, on Monday at 9.20am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Creggan. Interment afterwards in the City cemetery. Family time from 10.00pm to 12noon please. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
