Gronia Cassidy, 108 Creggan Heights, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Gronia Cassidy, 21st June 2024, suddenly at her home, 108 Creggan Heights, loving mother of Caolan, beloved daughter of Margaret and the late Daniel, dear and loving sister of Gary, Christina and Danielle, and a devoted auntie to all her nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by her entire family circle and all her friends. Gronia will be reposing at her home. Funeral leaving there on Monday, 24th June at 11:50am to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 12:30pm. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for her.
Mary McCloskey (née Feeney), 1 Dernaflaw Cottages, Dungiven
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Mary McCloskey (née Feeney), peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on 21st June 2024. May she rest in peace. Late of 1 Dernaflaw Cottages, Dungiven, Co Derry, BT47 4PP. Loving mother of Ryan (Niall), Stephen, Michaela, James and deeply regretted by their partners. Will be sadly missed by her partner Trevor. Beloved daughter of Willie and the late Margaret R.I.P and dear sister of Sean, Margaret, Colm, Geraldine (Sean Kealey), Colette and late infant John R.I.P. Mary’s wake will be on Sunday (23rd) 12noon to 10.00pm. Family home private please morning of funeral. The death has occurred of the late Robert (Bertie) McNeice, June 22, 2024 (suddenly) at Fairfields Care Centre, Cookstown, formerly of 8 Railway Terrace, Castledawson, dearly beloved husband of the late Hilda, much loved and devoted father of Zandra, dear father-in-law of Nigel and dearest brother of Margaret (Crossett)and the late William James, Sadie (Saville), Hugh, John, Sam and Archie. Tanya Murray, 8 Old City Close, Derry (Updated arrangements)
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Tanya Murray, peacefully at The Foyle Hospice, on 22nd June 2024. May she rest in peace. Beloved mother of Ella-Rose. Loving daughter of Edel and Gerard. A much loved sister of Michael, Donna-Marie, Sean and Gerard. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her nieces, nephews, wider family circle and friends. Tanya’s remains will be reposing at her late family home, 8 Old City Close, between 11.00am and 8.00pm on Sunday, 23rd June. Funeral leaving from there on Monday, 24th June at 9:20am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
