The death has taken place of John Raymond Alexander, 3rd February 2024, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital (surrounded by his loving family after a short illness in his 86th year) dearly beloved husband of the late Margaret, much loved father of Lynn, Brenda, Mark and the late Stanley, loving father-in-law of Jonathan, Jeff and Wendy, adored granda of Rebecca, James, Jeffrey, Lisa, Gemma, Jessica, Sarah, Amy and Andrew, dearest brother of Esther, Stanley and the late Drew. Service of Thanksgiving in his late home, 136 Duncastle Park, Newbuildings on Tuesday, 6th February at 12.30pm followed by burial in Altnagelvin Cemetery. Barry Bowstead, 101 Marlborough Road, Derry
The death has taken place of Barry Bowstead, 3rd February 2024, peacefully at Owen Mor, Care Home, (late of 101 Marlborough Road, formerly of Middlesborough, England), beloved husband of Sylvia, loving father of Margaret and Kevin, cherished brother of Derek. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Barry will be reposing at his daughter Margaret’s home, 95 Marlborough Road, on Sunday from 11.00am to 10.00pm. Funeral leaving 95 Marlborough Road on Monday, 5th February at 11.20am to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 12noon. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on his soul. St. Pio intercede for him.
